CAT MUDRYK

This is the first piece of Portland Stone, which is an English limestone, that I worked with. Inspired by stone carvings I had seen while traveling in Mexico, this was for many years nothing more than an ink sketch. Being able to put it back into stone felt like a full-circle moment, and was immensely gratifying.
