Photography, for me, is about rooting memories in your being the way a tree roots itself in the soil, solidifying the impression of a time, of a place, of the light, of emotion. 

The further we drift away from the day and the moment however, the more entangled the memories become with others. The edges of one blur with the edges of another. One memory transposes itself onto another. These images explore such anchors, emotions, and overlapping impressions of  time and place.
